Conan Barbar

From 1992, Semic-Slovart published seven issues of Conan Barbar, a Slovak-language comic series adapting the adventures of Robert E. Howard's iconic Cimmerian. This short-lived but culturally significant run brought the savage sword-and-sorcery hero to a post-Communist readership, marking an early milestone for translated genre comics in the region. Though associated with no single celebrated creator, the series stands as a testament to the enduring global appeal of Conan's brutal, mythic world.
