Over a decade beginning in 1972, Belgian publisher Le Lombard released ten issues of Comanche, a western series written by Greg and drawn by Hermann. The book follows the stoic ranch owner Comanche and her struggle to keep her land in the changing American frontier. Greg's taut storytelling and Hermann's gritty, detailed art made this a standout in European comics, offering a nuanced, character-driven take on the genre.
