Clifton

Belgian comics institution Clifton has been a mainstay of Le Lombard since 1980, following the refined, mustachioed detective Colonel Clifton through clever, lighthearted mysteries. Created by writer Bob de Groot and artist Turk, the series later saw artwork from Bédu and Walli, maintaining its signature blend of dry wit and classic, clean ligne claire style. With 21 issues to date, it stands as a beloved, gently humorous pillar of Franco-Belgian adventure comics.
