About the series
Based on the massively multiplayer online role-playing game, City of Heroes ran for twenty issues from Image Comics between 2005 and 2007. The series, most frequently written by Matt Miller and Sean Fish with art by Jon Landry, expanded the game's world of superpowered heroes and villains in Paragon City. It gave fans a chance to see the characters and conflicts of the MMO brought to life in a more traditional comic book format.
