Choc

From 1972 to 1983, French publisher Arédit-Artima compiled 33 issues of Choc, a digest-sized anthology that repackaged classic American Marvel tales for a European audience. The series drew heavily from the work of Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Roy Thomas as writers, with Kirby, Dick Ayers, and Gene Colan providing much of the artwork. Choc served as a vital bridge, introducing French readers to foundational superhero and adventure stories during a key era of Marvel's global expansion.
