Children of Fire

Richard Corben’s Children of Fire is a three-issue series from Fantagor Press (1987–1988), written and illustrated entirely by the acclaimed artist. A dark fantasy tale, it showcases Corben’s signature muscular, detailed style and his penchant for visceral, mythic storytelling. Though brief, the series stands as a pure, unmediated example of Corben’s singular vision during his late-’80s independent period.
