Cheeta Pop

Frank Strom’s three-issue Fantagraphics series Cheeta Pop (1995–1996) is a fast, anarchic romp through the life of its title character, a wild and unpredictable force of nature. Published during the alternative comics boom of the mid-1990s, this short-lived but memorable run showcases Strom’s distinctive, energetic art and storytelling. A cult oddity from the era, it captures the raw, unpolished spirit of indie comics at the time.
