CARtoons

CARtoons (1959–1961, Trend Publishing) was a short-lived, three-issue comic that merged hot-rod culture with cartoon humor, driven by the creative trio of Jerry Eisenberg, Pete Millar, and Tom Medley. A playful offshoot of the car-customization craze of the late 1950s, it offered gag strips, wild vehicle designs, and lighthearted automotive satire. Though brief, it stands as a niche artifact of the era’s fascination with souped-up cars and the emerging "kustom kulture" scene.
