About the series
Based on the classic toy line, Care Bears Annual was an eight-issue series published by Marvel UK from 1986 to 1993. Artist Harry Papadopoulos was a frequent contributor to these oversized, full-color volumes, which collected stories of the Care Bears and their adventures in Care-a-Lot. The annuals offered young readers a cheerful, consistent dose of the characters' trademark lessons in caring and sharing.
