Captain Guts

Larry Welz’s Captain Guts ran for three issues from 1969 to 1971 with The Print Mint Inc., a publisher known for underground comix. Welz wrote and drew the entire series, crafting a satirical, counterculture superhero parody that reflected the era’s irreverent spirit. Though brief, it stands as a small but distinctive artifact of the underground comix movement.
