In Cankor (2020–present), cartoonist Matthew Allison delivers a singular, self-contained comic from AdHouse Books that blends deadpan humor with a quietly surreal suburban landscape. Centered on the misadventures of its hapless title character, the series uses a deceptively simple, expressive line to explore themes of isolation and small-town absurdity.
