Cadavera

In the early 1990s, Fantagraphics published two issues of Cadavera, a short-lived but striking series from artists John Michael McCarthy and Mike McCarthy. Known for its raw, underground aesthetic, the comic blended horror and punk energy into a uniquely unsettling vision. Though brief, Cadavera remains a cult artifact of the alternative-comics era, showcasing the McCarthy brothers' unpolished, visceral style.
