Buddy Longway

A three-issue Faroese-language edition of the classic Western comic, Buddy Longway was published by Bókadeild Føroya Lærarafelags from 1989 to 1991. This translation brings Derib's acclaimed series—originally a long-running Franco-Belgian chronicle of a trapper and his family in the 19th-century American frontier—to a new audience. While brief, this run marks the only known Faroese publication of the work, offering a distinctive cultural lens on the beloved European Western.
