Brzrkr

Co-created by Keanu Reeves, Brzrkr is a brutally inventive action series from Boom! Studios that ran for twelve issues between 2021 and 2023. The story follows an immortal, half-mortal warrior who has fought through centuries of violence, now working with the U.S. government in exchange for a chance to finally die. Written by Reeves and Matt Kindt, with visceral art from Ron Garney, Lee Garbett, and Rafael Grampá, the series reimagines the timeless warrior archetype through a modern, cinematic lens. It stands out for its fusion of high-concept sci-fi and raw, unrelenting combat storytelling.
