Brick Bradford

From 1948 to 1949, Pines published four issues of Brick Bradford, a comic-book adaptation of the classic newspaper science-fiction strip. Writer William Ritt and artist Clarence Gray, the strip's original creators, brought their space- and time-traveling hero to a new medium, with the comic's brief run preserving a key piece of mid-century adventure. Though short-lived, the series stands as a faithful, creator-driven extension of one of the most influential newspaper strips of its era.
