Breakneck Blvd.

From 1995 to 1996, Slave Labor Graphics published Breakneck Blvd., a six-issue comic series by writer-artist Timothy Markin, with co-writing from Jeremy Mace. The book blends surreal, off-kilter humor with a gritty urban setting, following the bizarre residents of a single city block. Markin’s scratchy, expressive art and deadpan storytelling give the series a distinct, cult-classic feel that captures the indie-comics energy of the mid-90s.
