Boule & Bill

Belgian cartoonist Roba’s beloved canine character Bill got a new lease on life in this 17-issue German-language series from Egmont Ehapa, running from 1989 to 1996. Scripted primarily by Michael Walz and Vicq alongside Roba, the stories continued the gentle, slice-of-life humor of the original Boule & Bill comics, centering on a boy and his mischievous cocker spaniel. While less known than the classic Franco-Belgian run, this series kept Bill’s playful spirit alive for a new generation of European readers.
