Bone

Jeff Smith's Bone is a landmark fantasy-adventure comic series published from 1996 onward by the creator-owned Cartoon Books (later collected by Scholastic). Blending the visual charm of classic newspaper strips with an epic, Tolkien-inspired quest, the series follows the three Bone cousins—Fone Bone, Phoney Bone, and Smiley Bone—as they are run out of their hometown and stumble into a mysterious valley filled with strange creatures, ancient secrets, and a looming darkness.
