About the series
A long-running Portuguese comics anthology from Agência Portuguesa de Revistas, Bonanza (Suplemento ao Mundo de Aventuras) ran for 59 issues between 1973 and 1980. The series drew heavily on the prolific work of writer Gaylord Du Bois and artist Tom Gill, whose stories were a staple of the title. As a supplement to the larger Mundo de Aventuras line, Bonanza brought these Western and adventure tales to a dedicated Portuguese readership, preserving the duo's classic, fast-paced storytelling for a new audience.
