Bonanza

Hans G. Kresse, best known for his work on Tomahawk, launched this single-issue comic adaptation of the classic Western TV series Bonanza in 2007 under the Boumaar imprint. Kresse both wrote and illustrated the story, bringing his signature detailed, naturalistic style to the Cartwright family’s adventures. Though brief, this issue stands as a late-career return to the genre for the Dutch artist, offering a faithful, visually rich take on the beloved Ponderosa saga.
