Bonanza

Bonanza (1961–1967) was a Swedish comic series published by Centerförlaget, adapting the beloved television western into a 32-issue run. Built around the Cartwright family and their sprawling Ponderosa ranch, the series captured the show’s mix of adventure, moral dilemmas, and frontier life for a Scandinavian audience. The art was photo-based, giving the comic a distinctive, realistic look drawn from the TV series. It remains a charming artifact of 1960s European comics fandom, bringing the iconic American saga to new readers.
