About the series
A long-running Norwegian comic series, Boing pocket (1989–2009) delivered 144 issues of lighthearted, family-friendly adventure through the publisher trio of Serieforlaget, Se-Bladene, and Stabenfeldt. The series is most closely associated with writer Olga May Bore (credited under various forms of her name), whose storytelling anchored the run, while the painted artwork—by an uncredited artist—gave each issue a distinct, storybook quality. Its decades-long tenure makes it a notable, if understated, fixture of late-20th-century Norwegian comics.
