Blue Beetle

In this short-lived 1967–1968 Charlton run, Steve Ditko reimagines the Blue Beetle as Ted Kord, a brilliant inventor and acrobat who relies on his wits and gadgets rather than superhuman powers. Over just five issues, Ditko's distinctive, angular artwork and offbeat storytelling introduce a supporting cast that includes the mysterious Vic Sage—soon to become the Question—alongside allies Tracey and Lt.
