Black Rider

In the early 1950s, Bell Features published six issues of Black Rider, a Western comic that pitted its masked, gun-slinging hero against frontier outlaws. The series is most notable for the artwork of Joe Maneely and Al Hartley, who gave the title a rugged, dynamic visual style. Though brief, the run stands as a solid example of the Canadian publisher's post-war genre output.
