In 2013, DC published a single-issue revival of Black Orchid, a prestige-format one-shot written by Neil Gaiman and painted by Dave McKean. This project revisits the surreal, botanical mystery they first crafted together in the late 1980s, reimagining the DC heroine as a hybrid being of nature and human consciousness.
