Black Orchid

In 2002, DC Comics launched a single-issue revival of Black Orchid, a reporter alter ego for the mysterious L'Orchidée Noire. Written by Dominique Mathieu alongside Neil Gaiman, and painted by Dave McKean, this short-lived series offered a moody, visually lush take on the character, distinct from Gaiman and McKean's earlier miniseries. Though brief, it stands as a notable, atmospheric chapter in the character's DC history.
