Black Hammer: Spiral City

Set in the same universe as Jeff Lemire and Dean Ormston's acclaimed Black Hammer saga, Black Hammer: Spiral City is a seven-issue limited series from Dark Horse (2024–2025) that shifts focus to the titular city itself. Written by Jeff Lemire with moody, atmospheric art by Teddy Kristiansen, the series explores the strange, haunted landscape of Spiral City and the lives of its residents—both heroes and ordinary people—caught in its surreal grip. It deepens the mythology of the Black Hammer world by examining how a place can shape and warp the stories of those who inhabit it.
