Black Fury

From 1955 to 1956, World Distributors published eight issues of Black Fury, a short-lived but visually striking comic series most consistently drawn by the prolific Dick Giordano. The series centered on the adventures of its titular black-clad hero, a mysterious and vengeful figure operating in the shadows. Though brief, the run stands as an early showcase of Giordano’s clean, dynamic style, offering a glimpse of the artist’s developing talent before his celebrated work at Charlton and DC.
