Black Cobra

A short-lived Farrell Comics title from the mid-1950s, Black Cobra ran for just three issues. The series is most associated with the artwork of Paul Gattuso, whose pages defined the look of this brief, shadowy vigilante story. It stands as a minor but characteristic example of the pre-Code crime and adventure comics that filled newsstands before the industry’s self-censorship tightened.
