بيسات الريح / Bissat al-Rih [Flying Carpet]

The long-running Lebanese comic Bissat al-Rih (Flying Carpet) launched in 1968, offering generations of Arabic readers a magical blend of fantasy, adventure, and folklore. Published by Dar al-Fata al-Arabi and most closely associated with the pioneering artist and writer Mohieddine Ellabbad, the series draws its name from the iconic flying carpet of legend. Over its 24 issues, it became a cherished cultural touchstone, weaving local myths with universal coming-of-age stories.
