Billy the Kid

About the series
In the mid-1940s, Fawcett Publications gave the legendary outlaw his own short-lived comic series, Billy the Kid (1945–1946), lasting just three issues. The title was primarily illustrated by Bill Brady (also credited as William Brady), whose art brought the Wild West adventures to life. Though brief, the series is a snapshot of the era's fascination with Western heroes in comics, riding alongside Fawcett's more famous cowboy characters.
