In the mid-1960s, BSV - Williams published Bildschirm Klassiker, a 14-issue comic series that adapted classic television shows into sequential art. Writers Paul S. Newman, Carl Memling, and Ken Fitch, alongside artists Sam Glanzman, Stephen Addeo, and Maurice Whitman, brought these small-screen stories to the printed page. The series stands as a snapshot of the era's cross-media fascination, preserving TV narratives for a comics audience before home video made such adaptations commonplace.
