About the series
In the mid-2010s, AC Comics revived a host of its classic golden- and silver-age heroes under the banner of Big Bang Universe, a three-issue series written primarily by Gary Carlson. Artists Jeff Weigel, Joe Sharp, and Rob Sharp brought the action to life as characters like Christopher Kelly, Galahad, Shutterbug, The Knight Watchman, Ultiman, and Vanessa Hart crossed paths in a shared, retro-infused setting. This short run served as a focused team-up showcase for AC’s deep bench of lesser-known superheroes, giving longtime fans a compact dose of the publisher’s idiosyncratic charm.
