Beyblade

In 2012 and 2013, Hjemmet/Egmont published a three-issue Beyblade comic series, translated into Norwegian by Heidi Vonn-Nilsen and featuring writing by Harry Hansen. A compact, licensed tie-in to the battling-top phenomenon, it brought the spinning action and tournament drama of the franchise to the page for Scandinavian readers. Though brief, this series represents a specific regional effort to capture the global Beyblade craze in comic form.
