Bessy natuurkommando

Bessy natuurkommando (1985–1992) was a Flemish comic series from Standaard Uitgeverij that blended adventure with ecological awareness, following a team of animal-loving heroes on missions to protect nature. Spanning 23 issues, the series was most frequently written by Marck Meul, with artwork primarily handled by Jeff Broeckx and Patrick Van Lierde. A spin-off of the classic Bessy horse comic, it stands out for its earnest environmental themes within the broader European adventure-comic tradition.
