Bella Muerte

Over three issues from 2014 to 2016, Astiberri Ediciones published Bella Muerte, a Spanish comic series by writers Kelly Sue DeConnick and Santiago García with artist Emma Ríos. The story follows a young woman who inherits her grandmother's funeral home, only to discover it serves as a gateway for souls between the living and the dead. Ríos' lush, gothic artwork brings a hauntingly beautiful atmosphere to this intimate, genre-bending tale of family legacy and mortality.
