Bec-en-Fer

Jean-Louis Pesch both wrote and illustrated this four-issue series for Éditions Fleurus, published from 1980 to 1986. The title character, Bec-en-Fer, is a colorful adventurer whose exploits unfold in a lighthearted, family-friendly style typical of Pesch's work. Though brief, the series stands as a charming example of late-period Franco-Belgian comic storytelling from a creator known for his long-running work on Les Aventures de Bec-en-Fer.
