Battle Stories

Battle Stories (1952–1953) was a short-lived Fawcett war comic that ran for eleven issues, offering gritty, action-driven tales of combat across various fronts. With John Martin as the primary writer and a rotating art team of Bob Powell, Carl Pfeufer, and Clem Weisbecker, the series delivered the visceral, no-nonsense military storytelling typical of the era. Though brief, it stands as a solid example of early 1950s war comics from a major pre-Code publisher.
