Battle Chasers: El Retorno

In 2002–2003, Spanish publisher Planeta DeAgostini brought the cult-favorite fantasy series Battle Chasers to a new audience with El Retorno, a four-issue collection reprinting the original run. This edition made Joe Madureira’s lush, manga-influenced art and the story of a young girl searching for her lost father accessible to European readers, cementing the series’ legacy as a beloved, if tragically short-lived, adventure.
