Battle Angel Alita

In 2017–2018, Editora JBC brought the iconic cyberpunk saga Battle Angel Alita to a new generation of Brazilian readers with a concise four-issue series. This edition collects the earliest chapters of Yukito Kishiro’s original manga, introducing the amnesiac cyborg Alita as she awakens in a post-apocalyptic junkyard and discovers her latent combat abilities. While a short run, it served as a fresh entry point for fans of the acclaimed source material, presenting the story that would later inspire a major film adaptation.
