Yukito Kishiro’s post-apocalyptic cyberpunk saga, originally serialized in Japan, was brought to English-speaking readers by Viz Media in this 1994–2005 run. Anchored by Kishiro’s intricate, kinetic artwork, the series follows a cyborg amnesiac discovered in a scrapyard, navigating a violent, stratified world. Though the English release spanned only two issues, it introduced Western audiences to a seminal manga that would become a touchstone for the genre.
