Batman Extraordinario

A long-running Mexican series from Editorial Continental, Batman Extraordinario ran for 14 issues beginning in 1968, presenting Spanish-language reprints of the Dark Knight's adventures from the Silver Age. The title is most associated with the work of artist Neal Adams and writer Dennis O'Neil, whose influential, grittier take on the character was featured in these pages. It served as an important bridge for Mexican readers, bringing them the evolving, more complex Batman of the late 1960s and early 1970s.
