About the series
In this short-lived Dutch-Belgian series from the early 1980s, the titular Bastos and Zakousky star in a trio of lighthearted, globe-trotting adventures published by Mondria. François Corteggiani and Anneke van Ammelrooij handled the writing, while Pierre Tranchand’s expressive art gave the duo their distinctive look. Though the series ran only three issues, it remains a charming footnote in European comics, showcasing the collaborative energy of its creators within the period's adventure-comedy tradition.
