Baseball Thrills

Baseball Thrills, a three-issue series from Ziff-Davis published in 1951–1952, offered a fastball of diamond drama with art by Bob Powell and a young Gene Colan, among others. Primarily written by Powell and Ed Silverman, the comic packed its brief run with action-packed, fictional baseball stories rather than real-life biographies. Though short-lived, it serves as a showcase for early Colan artwork and a snapshot of the early-1950s boom in sports comics.
