Barney e la blue note

Barney e la blue note is an ongoing Italian comic series from Comma 22, launched in 2009, that follows the adventures of Barney, a jazz-loving cat with a passion for the blues. The series is most closely associated with its creator, cartoonist and musician Sergio Ponchione, who blends whimsical animal characters with a deep appreciation for music history. Though it has not yet produced a standard issue run, the series has been collected in graphic novel form, earning a cult following for its lyrical storytelling and evocative, watercolor-infused art.
