Baobab

From 2006 onward, Dutch publisher Oog & Blik released Baobab as a single-issue comic, a distinctive work by Italian cartoonist Igor Tuveri, working under the name Igort. Known for his elegant, moody linework and literary storytelling, Igort crafts a self-contained narrative that reflects his broader interest in intimate, cross-cultural tales. Though brief in its run, Baobab stands as a compact example of the artist’s refined, European graphic novel sensibility.
