About the series
A long-running Belgian gag-a-day series from Dupuis, Baard en Kale follows the misadventures of two hapless friends over more than four decades. Created primarily by artist Will and writer Maurice Tillieux, the strip became a staple of the Spirou magazine stable, with later stories penned by Stephen Desberg. Its enduring appeal lies in its simple, character-driven humor and the warm, expressive artwork that defined Will's career.
