Axel Moonshine Strip-album

From 1979 onward, the Belgian publisher De Vrijbuiter released the Axel Moonshine strip-album series, a short but distinctive run of just two issues. The series is most closely associated with writer Christian Godard and artist Julio Ribera, who crafted its moody, atmospheric storytelling. Though brief, it remains a notable example of European adventure comics from the late 1970s, showcasing the duo’s collaborative chemistry.
