Aventuras de Elpidio Valdés

A single-issue series from Editorial Pablo de la Torriente, Aventuras de Elpidio Valdés (2007–present) continues the beloved Cuban comic-strip adventures of the mambí colonel and his horse, Palomino, set during Cuba's Wars of Independence. Originally created by Juan Padrón, this edition collects classic strips and stories, preserving the satirical, folkloric humor and revolutionary spirit that made Elpidio Valdés a national icon. Though brief in its initial release, it represents an ongoing effort to keep Padrón's character accessible to new generations.
