About the series
A short-lived but punchy 2012–2013 Marvel series, Avenging Spider-Man paired the web-slinger with a rotating roster of Marvel heroes—including Iron Man, Jessica Drew, and Jennifer Walters—over just three issues. Written by Kelly Sue DeConnick, Kevin Grevioux, and Zeb Wells, with art from the likes of Leinil Francis Yu and Terry Dodson, the series delivered fast, team-up adventures that leaned on Spider-Man’s wisecracking chemistry with his fellow heroes. Though brief, it captured the spirit of a classic team-up book for a modern audience.
